Vinyl Records Still In Demand
If you still remember the days when there were no CDs or MP3 players, odds are that you had a pretty cool collection of vinyl records at one time or another. But did you know that there is a whole sub-culture of people who are devoted, no, obsessed with collecting vinyl records. These are people who go shuffling through rummage and garage sales looking for old records; they get on ebay or even get them from their friends.
There is even a book that you might want to check out if record collecting is the thing you like to do. The book is called “Vinyl Junkies: Adventures In Record Collecting”. If you are the person who has stacks and stacks of square cardboard with black vinyl in between its sleeves, this book may be something you’d enjoy reading. After all, for some people collecting vinyl records is about more than just the nostalgia of it; on the contrary, for some collecting vinyl records is a legitimate hobby.
But if you do have a nice collection of vinyl records they won’t do you any good unless you’ve got something to play them on. Since your CD player is not an option, you’d better have yourself a good old fashioned record player if you plan on listening to all that vinyl you’ve collected!
